Your financial support fuels the Chapel of St. John the Divine’s ministries, energizes our outreach, blesses our neighbors, and so much more. Whether you are making a prayerfully considered annual stewardship pledge, a one-time gift from the heart, or providing for the Chapel through your estate, we are deeply grateful for your support of God’s work through our community.
Annual Stewardship Financial stewardship expresses our faith, gratitude for God’s blessings, and commitment to the Church’s mission. Annual pledges enable our parish to plan responsibly for worship, ministries, and outreach. Your pledge does so much: it is an expression of your growth in the church, it sustains our shared life in Christ, and it helps our community grow in service and love. Pledge fulfillment

Planning a Deferred Gift Looking beyond the present, deferred or planned gifts offer a far-reaching way to support the Chapel’s mission for generations to come, especially for those who wish to give but may not have extra resources available right now. We welcome a confidential conversation to discuss the following ways you can support the Chapel through your estate:

Appreciated securities, stocks, and mutual funds can support the Chapel, avoid capital gains tax on appreciated long-term securities, and they don’t require the expense of a lawyer. We will provide you with transfer information that you can pass along to your broker.
Retirement Plan Name the Chapel of St. John the Divine as a beneficiary of an IRA, 40l(k), or other qualified retirement plan, while reducing the tax burden for your heirs.
